Using Categories
Categories are a feature built into the wiki that allow articles with related topics to be grouped together.

[edit] Creating a Category
Categories are not created explictly. A category is created automatically the first time it is added to an article's category list. To place an article into a category, add the category tag to the page. (For consistancy, the categories tags should be added at the bottom of the article.)
[[Category: Category Name]]
Each category should be given a description to describe the type of articles that belong in the category. To add a description to a category page, click the link at the bottom of an article in the category or select the category from Special: Categories. Then edit the page and add the category description.
[edit] Removing a Category
A category is automatically removed from the wiki when it no longer contains any atricles. To remove an article from a category, edit the article and remove the category tag.
[edit] Viewing Categories
A complete list of categories can be found at Special: Categories. Each category contains an alphabetic listing of all articles in the category and should have a description at the top to describe the type of articles that exists in the category.
[edit] Creating a Sub-Category
In addition to articles, a category can contain other categories. To create a sub-category, edit the category page for the category you want to make the sub-category and add a category tag for the super category.
For example, if you want to make "Understanding Functions" a sub-category of "Building a Project", you would edit the category page for "Understanding Functions" and add:
[[Category: Building a Project]]
